Sydney Opera House

On Saturday 17 December, hundreds of children and adults facing barriers to accessing live performances due to social and financial disadvantage will celebrate the start of the Christmas season at the Sydney Opera House with a special preview of Circus 1903 thanks to The Balnaves Foundation Open House Program (BFOHP).

Launched in late 2014, the program seeks to make the arts more accessible by giving those with disadvantage the opportunity to purchase tickets for performances at the country’s premier cultural venue for just $5. This Saturday will be the first time an entire performance has been made available to BFOHP ticket holders, let alone a Concert Hall show, with over 1800 people able to have a truly magical experience at the Opera House.
